In a rapidly changing environment filled with the complex modern challenges of the ‘New Normal’ economic climate, it is now more important than ever for organisations to first identify and then develop the people who possess the right leadership potential to guide the organisation through periods of change, uncertainty and ambiguity.
Hudson’s Global Research and Development Centre recently conducted a study on this topic. The key question that we set out to answer was: ‘For which key attitudes do emerging leaders have opportunities to evolve further in order to become the senior or C-level leaders of the future?’
To answer this question, the personality characteristics of more than 400 emerging leaders in Europe were analysed. Their results were then compared with those of over 600 C-level leaders in Europe and of over 150 000 people from the global population.
A summary of the results for European emerging leaders is given below; more details can be found in the white papers.
